Rihanna’s wild Met Gala after-party

While Anna Wintour presided over a fancy “white tie and decorations” affair at Monday’s Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum, Barbadian bad girl Rihanna threw a down-and-dirty after-party, where designers and A-list celebrities let loose until 4 a.m.

Kristen Wiig, Nicole Richie, Andy Cohen, Zoë Kravitz and others commuted to the bash thrown by RiRi — who changed into a revealing gold gown — at Up & Down on 14th Street in a wild party bus hired by designer Alexander Wang, complete with stripper pole, neon lights and throbbing dance music.

“Everybody was laughing and dancing as they piled in,” said one partygoer. “Kristen was swaying with her friends around the pole to the music, while Nicole texted away on her cellphone.”

When they arrived, Wang and his gang filtered into the packed club, joining Naomi Campbell, Bradley Cooper and model girlfriend Suki Waterhouse, Jermaine Dupri, Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, Victor Cruz, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, and Carmelo and La La Anthony.

But the real life of the party was — surprisingly — Anne Hathaway, who showed off some energetic dance moves in jeans and a top after changing out of her red Calvin Klein gown. At one point, Hathaway grinded with Calvin Klein creative director Francisco Costa on the dance floor, while a cheering circle formed around her.

Then, Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman mingled with J.Crew president Jenna Lyons and her girlfriend Courtney Crangi at the back of the club, and the four of them held a mini dance-off while Public School designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne looked on.

Also at the club, “Glee” actress Dianna Agron arrived with Gabrielle Union, Lupita Nyong’o and Sarah Paulson. Karolína Kurková, Cara Delevingne, Joy Bryant, Alek Wek, Lily Donaldson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Reese Witherspoon were all spotted dancing and chatting. Rashida Jones, Paul Rudd and Ronan “Faux Blue Eyes” Farrow arrived at 2 a.m.
