Comic Dave Chappelle loves playing Radio City Music Hall because the landmark Midtown playhouse apparently lets performers choose their own decor.
Chappelle attended the 2014 Garden of Dreams Talent Show at Radio City on Wednesday night before his own run of nine sold-out shows there that began Friday.
He told event co-host Jill Martin, “Radio City Music Hall comes with things other venues don’t offer. For example, what other venues ask, ‘What color do you want your curtain?’ ”
The comedian rubbed elbows backstage with Susan Saradon, Katie Couric, John McEnroe, former Knicks John Starks and Larry Johnson, and Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara.
