There’s a new pair in footwear: Brian Atwood has partnered with Steve Madden after cutting ties with parent company the Jones Group.
Page Six reported last week that Atwood’s glitzy Madison Avenue boutique had shuttered.
His deal with Madden means the designer will still have creative control of his brands, but Madden provides production and distribution for the lower-priced B by Brian Atwood contemporary line.
Jones Group was recently sold to Sycamore Partners for $1.2 billion.
