Equinox Fitness had trouble launching its multimillion-dollar ad campaign during New York’s big snowstorm.

The gym that boasts a celebrity clientele including Cameron Diaz planned to debut its pricey new “Equinox Made Me Do It” ads covering entire facades of locations in Soho, the Flatiron District and the West Village Friday.

But the chain was hit with a stop-work order due to weather.

The campaign by Wieden + Kennedy replaces ads by controversial fotog Terry Richardson. But the new ones could cause as much of a stir because they feature images of two nude runners with their bums exposed.

West Village locals previously complained about Equinox ads on Greenwich Avenue in 2007 that wrapped around its building’s façade.

And one miffed resident has already posted on Facebook: “[This] is a historic landmarked community. Again Equinox starts up with tacky banners and advertisements plastered all over its exterior with no respect for our neighborhood.”
