“Look out” came soon for Gordon Ramsay. Last February, Post restaurant critic Steve Cuozzo wrote of the embat- tled chef’s eatery in the London NYC Hotel, which was half-full at night and had given up serving lunch: “When one of the world’s reigning culinary gods . . . a household name . . . can’t fill a 14-table room for lunch a few days a week, look out.” Now eater.com reports that the hotel has taken over as owner and manager of the “cash-strapped” venue, although it will continue to carry Ramsay’s name. In a final insult, the letter the hotel’s owners sent to vendors misspells his name as “Ramsey” throughout.
