Carmen de L’Orifice, the world’s oldest working supermodel, is coming out with a coffee table book of images taken by the world’s top photographers, tentatively titled “64 Years of Modeling.” Now being edited by her Chinese publisher, it will be released on her 80th birthday. At a recent Citymeals fund-raiser at Cipriani 42nd Street, L’Orifice told photographer Bettina Cirone she’d just returned from China, where she had catwalked down a runway in a heavy empress ensemble. She was less affected by jet lag than by pollution in Beijing, where “the air was yellow.”
