New York Giants star Victor Cruz has proposed to his longtime girlfriend Elaina Watley, Page Six has exclusively learned.
Wide receiver Cruz passed Watley a diamond ring on July 13 — a Sunday, appropriately for the NFL star — in front of their close family after a “baby dedication” ceremony for the couple’s daughter, Kennedy, at the Love of Jesus Family Church in Paterson, NJ.
Baby Kennedy was born in 2012. Cruz and Watley met back in 2003, when Cruz was still a student at Paterson Catholic High School.
“The ring is beautiful — it’s a round stone with a pink diamond band,” newly engaged Watley told Page Six.
She added that they haven’t started making wedding plans just yet — but said they are considering either a destination wedding or “an iconic” New York ceremony.

Either way, we may assume salsa will be danced (per Cruz’s signature touchdown celebration) and are sure it will be a fashionable affair.
The couple has become a fixture at New York Fashion Week and Anna Wintour’s Met Ball — where Cruz has worn duds by hip design team Public School and Watley’s worn dresses by designers including Naeem Khan.
The couple recently traveled to Paris’ men’s fashion week, where they were seen hand-in-hand at shows for Calvin Klein Collection, Louis Vuitton and Berluti, and sitting with Marc Jacobs, Antoine Arnault and David Beckham.
Cruz, who cut the ribbon to kick off New York Fashion Week two years ago, filled in as a fashion critic for Vanity Fair and weighed in on shows by Rick Owens, Dries Van Noten and Lanvin.
Watley — who helps manage Cruz’s career through her firm Brand Infinite — has been instrumental in his success, and Victor has said she is “the backbone of my life.”
Born weeks before the Giants won the Super Bowl in 2012, Kennedy was considered Cruz’s “lucky charm,” and Watley attended “every game while I was pregnant.”
Cruz last year signed a five-year, $46 million contract with the Giants.
