LOS ANGELES — Kim Kardashian is engaged to her boyfriend of six months, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, according to a new report.
“I couldn’t be happier!” Kardashian, 30, wrote on her blog Wednesday. “I finally found my missing puzzle piece, I’m complete!” she added.
The reality star said she walked into her Beverly Hills home May 18 to find Humphries waiting in her bedroom on bended knee with four words written in red rose petals on a white rug, “Will you marry me?”

“I didn’t expect this at all,” Kardashian, 30, told People magazine. “I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”
Humphries, 26, presented her with a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring. TMZ.com reported that it’s worth $2 million.
“I just knew I wanted it to be big,” said Humphries.
“My hand was shaking as he put the ring on my finger, shaking!” she told People. I was so excited but this calm came over me. It was very overhwelming but in the best possible way.”
Humphries said he “wanted it to be private, just us at home. She didn’t have a microphone on; nobody was filming. It felt so right at that moment that all my nerves went away.”
Aided by Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner, Humphries organized an intimate family celebration later that evening.
“Kris really didn’t want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he’d be fine if there were mini-horses there,” said Kardashian. “Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”
The two plan to marry in this summer. “I always dreamed of a big wedding,” she said. “I’ll probably do something really over-the-top.”
Kardashian spent three years with Saints running back Reggie Bush and then dated Cowboys receiver Miles Austin, People noted. She met Humphries in the fall and the two bonded over hot chocolate, the magazine reported.
