Trendy steakhouse STK’s “no tiara” rule ruined one little princess’ sweet 16. Her furious mom complained that the Meatpacking hot spot refused to allow her daughter in with a tiara on her head. “Upon arrival, the hostess tells me in front of everyone that my daughter has to remove her crown before she enters the dining room,” she told us. “She continued to tell me that they don’t allow crowns because they are too ‘glowy’ and they are a distraction for other diners.” The mother also griped that she was parked at a tiny table below the deejay booth at the eatery, a favorite of Kim Kardashian and the Knicks. STK’s rep said the dress code is stated on all reservation confirmations, which add, “No party paraphernalia permitted in the main dining room.” Owner The One Group’s Celeste Fierro said, “There is a dress code for our venues, but we’re happy to book private dining areas for anyone looking to hold their own celebration.”
