Paris shop Colette and Richardson Magazine’s Valentine’s Day Sex Party at Le Baron was so hot, one notable guest literally burst into flames. BLK DNM creative director Johan Lindeberg greeted guests on the club’s packed second level, and leaned in to kiss Purple magazine contributor Sabine Heller, who was seated on a banquette. But the fringe on Lindeberg’s silky white scarf dangled into a lit votive candle and became fashionable kindling. When his neckwear burst instantly into orange flames, Heller let out a dramatic scream that could be heard above DJ Venus X’s bumping tracks. As fire crawled up Lindeberg’s scarf, surrounding guests stopped dancing and jumped into action to help the designer extinguish his flaming accessory. Lindeberg was unharmed, luckily, and the fire never reached his signature blond beard. The scarf was toast, but Lindeberg proceeded to party in a V-neck and denim jacket. Downstairs, a stripper in a leopard-print bra and black garter took the stage. Often outrageous French sisters Olympia and Cleo Le-Tan, wearing latex leotards and fishnets, later joined in. Also there was Andrew Richardson, who greeted guests in a suave midnight-blue dinner suit, as well as André Saraiva, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Terry Richardson, Jared Leto and Olivier Zahm. The bash was thrown with fashion line Araks, which created a chic teddy for the Ace Hotel in time for Valentine’s Day.
