Michael Moore and Harvey Weinstein could be back in business together after settling a multimillion-dollar suit over Moore’s hit documentary “Fahrenheit 9/11.” Sources said Weinstein used part of the negotiations concerning the suit — in which Moore alleged he was still owed $2.7 million from the film’s profits — to pitch the director on new collaborations, including a documentary on conservative billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch. “Harvey wanted to pitch Michael three ideas as Michael’s possible next project,” said an insider. The source added that the concepts included a Koch doc as well as a movie on the coming presidential election. But sources close to Moore say that he’s already in the early stages of his next film, which he has yet to pitch to a number of distributors, which would include Weinstein. Neither side would comment beyond a joint statement that they’ve “amicably settled the lawsuit involving an accounting dispute on ‘Fahrenheit 9/11.’ ”
