Following her debacle of a marriage to Kris Humphries and the subsequent backlash, Kim Kardashian might have a hard time dating again. Now, her stepfather Kris Jenner adds to her woes, stating, “The next guy’s gotta come through me.”

Jenner appeared on “Ellen” today, alongside Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, and revealed that he had major doubts when his step-daughter accepted the Nets star’s proposal.

Jenner believes that he and has wife should question Kardashian’s romantic decisions in the future and better vet future suitors.

“Maybe we should start questioning some of their decisions,” he told Ellen, before explaining that he felt Kardashian rushed into marriage.

Jenner thinks he a simple solution for preventing a similar situation in the future. “The next guy’s gotta go through me,” Jenner said, enunciating each syllable.

The former Olympian claimed to have a sixth sense when it comes to pairings. “I’ve been through a lot. I know,” he said. “I can tell if it’s going to work or not.”

“I had my questions,” Jenner said of Humphries. “I remember when Kris came to me. We were playing golf and he asked me, ‘Is it OK for me to ask for her hand in marriage?’ In the back of my head, I said, ‘I don’t know if she is going to say yes.’ But it’s not my decision.”

Since filing for divorce from Humphries on Oct. 31, Kardashian has not openly started dating again. But she was seen out for lunch with ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush over the weekend, leading some to assume the two may rekindle their romance.
