Sorkin, Davis make it official at HBO premiere

Aaron Sorkin and Kristin Davis made their own headlines by taking their relationship public at the HBO premiere of “The Newsroom” in Los Angeles last night.

The “Sex and the City” actress, 47, and the Oscar-winning screenwriter, 51, kissed and canoodled on the red carpet at the Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles Wednesday night. The couple have been reportedly dating since May.

Davis and Sorkin were all smiles as they walked the carpet with guests at the premiere including Olivia Munn, Emily Mortimer, Adina Porter, Alison Pill and “The Newsroom” co-stars Jane Fonda and Jeff Daniels.

Sorkin is the creator and executive producer of “The Newsroom,” a drama centered around the meltdown and subsequent rebound of a prime time cable news anchor, played by Daniels. The show premieres Sunday on HBO.

Sorkin, who won an Oscar for his screenplay for “The Social Network,” was previously married to Julia Bingham from 1996 to 2005, and the two have a 12-year-old daughter, Roxy. Sorkin also been linked to singer Kristin Chenoweth.

Davis has never been married, but adopted a baby girl, Gemma Rose, in 2011.
