Top models Bar Refaeli and Irina Shayk got into a catfight on Twitter over soccer god Cristiano Ronaldo’s super-gelled hair. Israeli beauty Refaeli insulted the styled-up ’do of Shayk’s boyfriend, Ronaldo, during Thursday night’s game between his team, Portugal, and the Czech Republic.
Refaeli posted on Twitter: “The only thing I can think of when I watch Ronaldo is that hair gel should really be outlawed!” Shayk, who has been dating the soccer stud for more than two years, didn’t take the criticism well. The Russian stunner tweeted back at Refaeli: “Being a hater is not a cute look. Learn to love.” Refaeli, whom news reports once linked to Barcelona soccer star Gerard Piqué (while he was dating Shakira) and to flame-haired snowboard superstar Shaun White, retreated from her wisecrack, but still maintained her stance on hair products, tweeting at Shayk in response: “I love u and I love ur BF. I just don’t like hair gel.” Portugal beat the Czech squad 1-0 on a goal scored by Ronaldo’s gelled up, stiff-haired head.
