LOS ANGELES — Last year, Mila Kunis melted the hearts of millions of Americans when she accepted a YouTube invitation to accompany Sgt. Scott Moore, of the Third Battalion, 2nd Marines, to his Marine Corps Ball in North Carolina.

And it turns out this was not just a one-night-only gesture.

“We are still in contact,” she told FOXNews.com at the premiere of her new raunchy comedy, “Ted.” “We email back and forth and spoke on the phone about a month and a half ago.”

And no doubt Kunis will continue to build her fan base with her forthcoming role as Mark Wahlberg’s lover in “Ted.” There’s just one problem with their blossoming romance — he cannot move on from his beloved talking yet highly inappropriate teddy bear, which came to life as a result of a childhood wish.

But it apparently takes a lot to make this 28-year-old screen star wince.

“I was always surrounded by very obnoxious, dry people — my dad included. My dad has the driest sense of humor of anyone I know. When I was little, he made sure that I was going to have a strong backbone, and it developed the sense of humor in me,” Kunis said.

She added, “Plus being on ‘That 70’s Show’ for eight years and being on ‘Family Guy’ for 12 or 13, it definitely makes you immune to being offended.”
