Johnny Weir and Victor Voronov just can’t keep their hands off each other.

Less than two weeks after reuniting for the second time since announcing their divorce in March, the troubled couple were involved in a physical altercation at their New Jersey home on Saturday night, TMZ reports.

A source told the website the fight began after Weir discovered texts “badmouthing” him on Voronov’s phone. The former Olympic figure skater, 29, then unleashed a scratching frenzy on his husband, 30, leaving marks on his knees, hand and wrist.

Voronov reported the crime to police on Sunday, but declined to file for an emergency restraining order, the source added.

This isn’t the first time things have turned violent. Weir and Voronov appeared in court in March over charges stemming from a previous domestic violence incident.

“There was a domestic violence incident. Johnny was arrested. That case was dropped by Victor at the urging of Johnny prior to the Olympics. The person who bit someone was Johnny,” Voronov’s rep Wendy Feldman said at the time.

The NBC commentator and his attorney husband first announced they were splitting on March 19.

But less than a month later, and with the aid of an agreement banning extramarital dalliances and calling for biannual joint STD tests, the couple had made nice again. That reunion was short-lived, though, with Weir’s mother reportedly at fault.

At the time, Voronov opened up to Us Weekly about the effect his mother-in-law had had on his marriage and was having on his attempt to reconcile with Weir.

“The divorce is 100 percent still happening,” he told the magazine, “Johnny’s meddling mother [Patti] was definitely the source of the breakdown of our marriage.”
