Lindsay Lohan’s could literally be selling the shirt off her back.
Lindsay is allegedly flogging off her valuable clothes, shoes and accessories in order to make ends meet, according to RadarOnline. She reportedly sent off her little sister Ali to Wasteland, a vintage clothing shop in LA that specializes in designer duds, to sell the items.
The gossip site reports that Ali showed up at the store on Wednesday, hoping to get a good price for the actress’ wardrobe but was shocked when she was offered much less than expected.
RadarOnline’s source overhead Ali exclaiming, “Thirty dollars for these? They cost $700. This is ridiculous.”
The aspiring model then allegedly tried to convince the store that Lindsay was photographed with the items — which included a pair of Chanel pumps and a Balenciaga handbag — at famous events.
“These have to be worth more, Lindsay was photographed wearing them, that has to add value,” she was said to insist.
However, the store wouldn’t budge and Ali left disappointed and with significantly less cash than she hoped.
No response from LiLo after RadarOnline’s report, but she does have some serious financial issues. Despite being given $100,000 from Charlie Sheen, Page Six reported last week that the “Mean Girls” star has had her bank accounts seized by the IRS because she owes Uncle Sam more than $233,000 in taxes.
Money isn’t LiLo’s only problem – the once-promising star was charged with misdemeanor assault after her New York nightclub punch-up. She could have her probation revoked due to lying to police about being behind the wheel of a car crash in June.
