Kate Upton can add another prestigious fashion magazine cover to her growing portfolio.
The swimsuit model is featured on the cover of January’s British Vogue. Her curves are displayed in a figure-hugging white dress, with natural makeup and her blonde hair in soft waves. The versatile Upton appears youthful and elegant while not overtly sexual.

The magazine’s editor Alexandra Shulman deliberately choose a curvier model for the cover, and praised Upton’s high fashion and commercial appeal.
“It’s very rare for a girl; to move from one area of the business to the other, largely due to the fact that fashion models are almost without curves, whereas swimwear girls are celebrated for them,” Shulman said about the buxom “Cat Daddy” dancer. “When I decided to shoot Kate for our first cover of 2013, it was to kick off the year with a young women who is not a stereotypical fashion model – although, let’s face it, she’s hardly a heffalump!’
The bikini babe is working her way to the top of the fashion ranks after making a splash in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue. Upton has also appeared on a Vogue Italia cover and in a full editorial spread in November’s American Vogue; both were shot by photographer Steven Meisel.
