Charlie Sheen drops $75K to help girl fight cancer

Charlie Sheen has been very generous lately.

After writing a $100,000 check to bail out broke Lindsay Lohan, TMZ reports that the “Anger Management” star has cut a $75,000 check to help a little girl fighting cancer.

Sheen had been speaking to a police officer in Hermosa Beach, Calif., when he was told about Jasmine, 10, who had been diagnosed with Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma (CR), a cancer that occurs in the muscle tissue.

Sheen then told the officer, “No parent should have to watch their kid go through that” and sent a check the very next day for $75K to the Hermosa Beach Police Association, which had started a fund in Jasmine’s honor.

According to the gossip site, Sheen’s stunt double Eddie Braun also gave another $25,000. TMZ posted images of their checks.

The family is said to be extremely grateful, and hope that Sheen and Braun’s generosity will inspire others to join the fight against CR.

Last month, the actor gave Lohan $100,000 to help her pay her massive $233,000 tax bill. He revealed recently that she still hasn’t thanked him.

He told “Entertainment Tonight”: “I’m still waiting for a text to say, ‘Thank you’. Anything you know?”
