Jeremy Piven backed out of a plan to unveil a 19-story art installation at the InterContinental Miami at the last minute. The display, to be unveiled Thursday, was called “Digital Canvas” and included an animated montage of silhouettes including a dancing woman. But, according to local reports, the artwork was deemed “too risqué” by the “Entourage” star, who decided it would be “bad for his image” to unveil. Photographer Patrick McMullan and former Warhol acolyte Ultra Violet instead pitched in. The actor turned up later and ate with Martha Stewart at the hotel’s restaurant Toro Toro. Piven’s rep tells us: “As soon as Jeremy found out what the content was, he wasn’t comfortable with participating. What he did do, that many others might not have, is attend the event . . . stay until the end of the evening, and have a wonderful dinner.”
