Drew Barrymore debuts baby Olive

New mom Drew Barrymore has introduced her little girl to the world.

The 37-year-old actress proudly holds up 9-week-old Olive on the cover of People magazine, beaming with pride.

In the accompanying interview, Barrymore opens up about being a first-time mom.

Barrymore, who’s married to art consultant husband Will Kopelman, confessed she “couldn’t eat or sleep for two weeks, I was just so nervous!”

She added: “You have the highest highs and yet you’re facing the biggest fear of, ‘How do I keep someone alive?’”

But with the help of her husband, Barrymore feels she can provide a loving home for her daughter.

“I really wanted a wonderful traditional home for my kid. Will comes from a strong family, he provides a strong family … It just makes me so emotional because it’s like a miracle.”

The “Charlie’s Angels” star recently revealed that the name Olive came from a baby manual.

“I never would have guessed that would have been the name,” she explained to Ellen DeGeneres during an interview. “But I was reading a book with my husband. I was three months pregnant and they said your baby is the size of an olive, and that was it. We never looked back!”

Barrymore gave birth to Olive in September, three months after tying the knot.
