LiLo faces 8 months in jail: report

The clock is ticking for Lindsay Lohan.

The troubled actress is only one day away from her arraignment, at which time her probation is likely to be revoked, according to a TMZ report.

Law enforcement sources tell the gossip site that Lohan is back in court for allegedly lying to the cops about her car accident in June. This constitutes as a violation of her probation in her jewelry theft case. The judge is expected to revoke Lohan’s probation and then set a new hearing to decide if Lohan violated the terms of her probation by breaking the law again.

The hearing will allegedly occur at the same time Linz stands trial on criminal charges for her car accident case. If the actress is found “not guilty” in the criminal case, the judge can still rule she violated her probation, as the standard of proving a probation violation is significantly lower than proving guilt beyond reasonable doubt.

LiLo could be put behind bars for eight months for the violation, EXCLUDING the jail time if she’s convicted in the car accident case.

(As a bonus, she’s also trouble for her alleged punch-up at a nightclub in New York. She currently owes Uncle Sam $233,000 in back taxes. But let’s just take this one coast at a time.)

TMZ’s sources say the LA City Attorney is “out for blood” and will file papers tomorrow asking that Lohan’s probation be revoked. The ultimate decision lies with Lohan’s judge.

Still, it’s out-of-sight/out-of-mind for Lohan. She’s reportedly skipping her court dates and following her rumored flame Max George and his band The Wanted all the way to London and Dubai for their upcoming shows.

Her lawyer Shawn Holley will appear on her behalf. Lohan is not required to show up in person since the charges – lying to a police officer and a count of reckless driving for her June car crash in California – are misdemeanors.
