President Obama triumphed in his presidential re-election yesterday and his A-list backers have stamped their approval via social media.

Beyonce, one of the president’s most prominent supporters, put on hooped Obama earrings and defiantly posted “Take that Mitches” on her popular Tumblr.

Eva Longoria, who has been deployed by the Obama camp in several battle-ground states, posted on her Who Say account, “Me and my friends celebrating! I’m on tears! Moving the country forward!!! Obama!!!”

Katy Perry tweeted, “The people have the power! Proud to stand by you for 4 more years. RT @BarackObama This happened because of you. Thank you.

“Glee” star and openly gay Chris Colfer was equally thrilled. “All ages, genders, ethnicities, and orientations dancing badly TOGETHER on TV! THATS America! Wouldn’t see that 50 years ago. #USAProgress”

Lady Gaga posted a photo of herself and her pals who “just couldn’t be happier my goodness, the joy when freedom prevails”

Cher, in all caps, tweeted: “OMG ! IM SO HAPPY ! THIS IS ONE OF THE GREAT NITES OF MY LIFE !!!! TEARS R STREAMING DOWN MY FACE ! WOMEN WE HAVE A CHAMPION !!!”

Kim Kardashian, who’s currently on a London media blitz, was also in on the election buzz: “Just landed! anxiously awaiting to see who the next president would be! Heard the good news!!!! Congrats President Obama!!!!” Meanwhile, her estranged hubby Kris Humphries tweeted about his non-credible source: “My cab driver told me Romney won. Can I trust this?” …hate to break it to ya.

The Roots drummer Questlove poignantly urged his followers to contribute to the Sandy recovery post-election. “Let’s start O’s term right: you can directly help NY & NJ families of #Sandy out getting them supplies they need.” He added an Amazon registry of items still needed for the relief effort.

As for Mitt Romney, who boasted more big business and banking names on his roster rather than showbiz supporters, he got some kind words from “Clueless” actress Stacey Dash, who recently came under fire for her Romney endorsement. She tweeted, “Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan. You fought the Good Fight and I am proud! @MittRomney @RepPaulRyan” Classy.

However, the always vocal Donald Trump was a lot more bitter. The prominent Romney-backer first posted, “The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy” on his Twitter but moments later he posted this ray of hope with the GOP taking the House. “Hopefully the House of Representatives can hold our country together for four more years…stay strong and never give up! “
