Comedy Central’s election night laugh riot

Comedy Central threw its “Indecision 2012” party at Edison Ballroom on election night, taking over the space with red and blue political whimsy. Pillows displayed elephants humping donkeys, political bobbleheads decorated the bar, and City Cakes made a “Donkelphant”-shaped confection that weighed in at about 300 pounds. Guests included Olivia Wilde, Adrian Grenier and “30 Rock” star Judah Friedlander, who told us as the party raged, “The night is still young, and I think I am going to win. Thanks for [speaking to me] because there has been a media bias against me.” The comic also joked he hit the polls in VIP fashion. “There were no lines,” Friedlander said. “They actually brought the voting machine to me.” Election coverage, along with Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert’s shows, played on several screens as music blared. Asked by Page Six whether he’d voted, “Wet Hot American Summer” director David Wain responded, “Where do you go to donate sperm?”
