Hillary Clinton grilled about future grandchild at luncheon

The biggest question presumptive presidential candidate Hillary Clinton faced at the World Resources Institute’s Courage to Lead luncheon was whether her pregnant daughter Chelsea Clinton is “having a boy or a girl.”

Bloomberg LP CEO Dan Doctoroff asked the gender of Clinton’s grandchild when he introduced Hillary at the Park Avenue event. But the former secretary of state played coy before a crowd including Citi Foundation president Pamela Flaherty, Rockefeller Foundation president Judith Rodin and banker James Harmon, replying, “I don’t know the answer to that question.”

Chelsea announced in April that she was pregnant with her first child with Marc Mezvinsky.

Meantime, Hillary’s flogging her book, “Hard Choices,” which The Economist calls in its new issue a “600-page doorstopper . . . full of . . . micro-revelations, which are earnest, dull and self-serving, all at the same time.”
