Bad boy Chris Brown seems happy to have someone on his side.
Adele made it clear in a tweet that she had no beef with Brown after a Grammy photo of the pair surfaced in which she appeared to reprimand the controversial R&B star. “Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually,” the “Skyfall” singer tweeted on Wednesday.
In response, Breezy tweeted: “Pleasure to meet u @OfficialAdele I heard your words and that’s all that matters. Thank u for speaking truth. CB.”
Adele and Chris Brown’s photo at the Grammys was the “showdown” seen around the world. Several blogs speculated that Adele was admonishing Brown for staying seated as rival Frank Ocean picked up his award for best urban contemporary album while the whole crowd stood up in applause. (Brown was nominated in the same category.)
Brown, meanwhile, also tweeted some Valentine’s Day wishes, “CB:HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to all the beautiful women in the world. Our Queens….. Our mothers, sisters, and daughters. I love you.”
His on-again girlfriend Rihanna sent a blunt response – an Instagram photo of a pot-leaf-shaped bundle of what appears to be marijuana buds.
She posted alongside, “Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy.”
