Amar’e Stoudemire and his wife Alexis Welch are parents for the fourth time.
“We are proud to announce we added a healthy baby boy to the Stoudemire team this morning,” the Knicks forward tweeted today. “Alexis & the baby are doing great. #Blessed”
“We’re blessed that we were able to extend our family,” Stoudemire told People when his wife was first expecting. “We’re both huge on having a nice size family. It was something we’ve been talking about for a while.”
The couple have been together since 2002 and tied the knot on top of their new York City apartment in December. The new bundle of joy is a little brother to their three children, Ar’e, Amar’e Jr. and Assata.
