Eva Longoria’s new boyfriend ‘filed for bankruptcy last year’

Eva Longoria’s new boyfriend Ernesto Arguello filed for bankruptcy in 2012 with more than $4 million in debt, according to a new report.

In court documents obtained by The National Enquirer, the 34-year-old Miami-based entrepreneur allegedly filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy last year, listing $1,555 in assets and $4.1 million in total liabilities. According the report, he allegedly claimed he had just $5 cash on hand at the time.

The new couple, who only confirmed their relationship status last week, met last year on “Ready For Love,” a reality matchmaking show Longoria, 38, executive produced for NBC. The two were recently seen hand-in-hand while out in Paris.

According to the Enquirer, the “Desperate Housewives” star is worth an estimated $35 million.
