Beckham, James hang out in Miami

David Beckham is still kicking it with LeBron James after unveiling plans to launch a Major League Soccer team in Miami.

Sources said the Brit soccer star was spotted with James at FDR lounge at the Delano hotel Monday after the Miami Heat game.

We’re told Beckham walked into FDR with James’ manager Maverick Carter and the three met at a center table, causing observers to wonder whether Beckham’s still wooing James to get involved in the league venture.

Spies said Beckham requested songs by Drake and hung with James and his crew till 3 a.m.

Last fall, James told ESPN he was interested in potentially backing the soccer project. In February, it was revealed Beckham’s financial backers include “American Idol” creator Simon Fuller and Bolivian billionaire Marcelo Claure.

On Tuesday, Beckham revealed plans for a 25,000-square-foot stadium to be constructed at PortMiami on the city’s waterfront, which is also home to the world’s busiest cruise ship terminal.

Construction of the stadium is estimated to cost $200 million.
