Did Britney Spears dine and dash?
The singer, 32, was accused of skipping out on her $30 Cheesecake Factory bill in Thousand Oaks, California, on Sunday.
The confusion came when the waitress came over with the bill and Spears said her bodyguard would pay.
But he never did.
Since news broke of the incident, TMZ reports not only has Spears paid her overdue tab for her salad and appetizer, but left the waitress a $100 tip.
She says it was all a mistake.
Spears and her boyfriend, David Lucado, were spotted leaving the eatery with several shopping bags and evidence of the unpaid meal — a doggie bag.
The Cheesecake Factory sides with the “Work Bitch” singer, calling the flub a “mistake.”
“Britney dines in our restaurants quite often and is a wonderful guest,” Senior Director of Public Relations for the Cheesecake Factory Alethea Rowe told Page Six. “We know that this was just an honest mistake.”
