Carlos Santana celebrated his 65th birthday in style. The guitar god was spotted Friday night at a VIP “chef’s table” at Old Homestead Steakhouse in Atlantic City with a party of four, including his wife, Cynthia. The “Evil Ways” rocker opted not to close curtains surrounding the private area, and onlookers also got into the act. “Carlos didn’t seem to mind fans raising their glasses in his honor,” a spy said, adding that he even gave one fan a friendly “air-guitar riff.” Another source said that at 65, Santana hasn’t forgotten his roots: “He always goes back to the kitchen to thank the chefs and staff, always remembering his beginnings as a dishwasher back in San Francisco before becoming a guitar legend.” The ax man is also shooting a new Macy’s ad for his women’s shoe and handbag lines while he’s in town.
