Yoko Ono is taking over Times Square today for International Peace Day. The singer will screen the words “Imagine Peace” intermittently all day on three jumbo screens. The message — a riff on John Lennon’s lyrics to “Imagine” — will be translated into 24 languages. The project’s presented by the Art Production Fund. MTV, Viacom and American Eagle are lending video billboards for the display. Sir Elton John will play a show at Wembley Stadium today as another peace celebration.
