He played a coldblooded hit man from Italy on “The Sopranos,” but Federico Castelluccio was honored at the Midtown North Detectives Squad’s holiday bash at the Mandarin Oriental for his philanthropy. The fete, we hear, was organized by recently retired Detective Kevin Schroeder — known for guarding greats including the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Justin Bieber — who heads Black Tie Protection Services. “Kevin must’ve picked up some musical tips along the way,” one of the night’s 200 guests told Page Six. “He got onstage with the house band Killer Joe and the Lido Soul Revue, and played drums on ‘Honky Tonk Women’ and ‘Gimme Shelter.’ ” The spy added that Schroeder’s a musically inclined cousin of “Knock Three Times” crooner Tony Orlando. Also there were supermarket magnate and potential mayoral candidate John Catsimatidis and Hell’s Kitchen Democratic district leader James McManus. But although Schroeder’s firm specializes in event security, we’re told no special measures were needed for this shindig: “It was basically a room full of detectives, FBI people and political types,” said a spy. “So I don’t think they were too concerned about security.” The bash also served as a benefit for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and NYPD’s Detectives Endowment Association.
