Artist Domingo Zapata has fired his manager Amanda Brown and his publicist amid rumors of money woes. Zapata, dubbed the “Next Andy Warhol” and a darling of Art Basel in Miami, is cash- strapped, we’re told, “because he has taken money for commissions but has not delivered the work. Meanwhile he has been traveling the world, partying with starlets including Lindsay Lohan and Scarlett Johansson. He has a studio at the Bowery Hotel in New York and one in LA at the Chateau Marmont.” The source added, “He has a huge bill at Chateau, and relations aren’t good. He freaked out last month and fired his team.” Brown did not get back to us last night. His ex-publicist declined to comment.
