Organizers at the Brit Awards are reportedly facing a stiff challenge to keep Harry Styles and ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift apart.
The One Direction heartthrob and the country popstar split in January after two months of dating.
According to The Metro, the ex-lovers reportedly had their rehearsal timings changed to keep them apart before their performances at the annual music awards show tomorrow night.
“No one wants anything awkward to happen. Taylor and Harry are definitely being kept well apart,” said a supposed backstage source to the UK publication.
Show bosses at the Brits have allegedly kept Styles and his band mates in a completely separate corridor from Swift.
The source added, “The 1D dressing room is well hidden too so if Taylor did want to find Harry and smooth things over, she’d have to do some serious looking before she’d find him.”
Styles recently broke his silence since the split early this year.
“I’m okay, thank you for asking. I’m good,” he said during a radio interview with London’s Capital FM when asked how he’s handling the breakup.
Many thought that Swift took a swipe at her ex at the Grammy Awards when she used a faux-British accent during her performance of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
“She’s a great performer and she always performs great,” Styles said diplomatically. “She’s always good on the stage. She’s been doing it a long time. She knows what she’s doing on stage. It was just another good Taylor Swift performance. It was good.”
