Miley Cyrus remains “committed” to fiancé Liam Hemsworth after Page Six revealed their engagement hit a rough patch.
“We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed,” she says in the upcoming issue of Elle UK. “But we keep our relationship low-key and don’t talk about it anymore.”
We exclusively reported in mid-March that Cyrus and the “Hunger Games” hunk called off their engagement. The two spent much time away from each other following their split – while Cyrus remained in LA, the actor jetted off to his native Australia for much of the month. Cyrus was seen without her engagement ring but the impressive 3.5-carat rock has since reappeared on her finger. She said the ring was off because she was getting it repaired.
The 20-year-old starlet now pledges to keep her private life to herself after much media attention on their relationship. “We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight – into my life and my puppies and my house – and I just don’t feel they get that privilege anymore.”
Cyrus also shares in the interview that she approached her longtime friend Justin Bieber, who’s erratic behavior lately has been getting more attention than his music.
“I noticed he was taking all these photos of people and doing a lot of [bleep], and I just grabbed him and said, ‘Just take a snapshot in your brain of this moment, so you don’t forget”
