Broadway shows get standing ovations at the end of the performance, if things go well.

But Harvey Fierstein got one at intermission Thursday when an audience seeing “Casa Valentina” spotted the playwright.

Fierstein arrived midway through the Tony-nominated play about cross-dressers in the Catskills in the 1960s to grab a seat and check out his second act when the crowd started clapping.

VIPs who’ve seen the show include Sting, Patti LuPone, Whoopi Goldberg and Tony Kushner.
