Leonardo DiCaprio celebrates ‘Wolf’ release in Aspen

“The Wolf of Wall Street” may not turn a profit, but the film’s producer Riza Aziz was celebrating its release in Aspen with some investors and star Leonardo DiCaprio.

DiCaprio, 39, and Aziz, 36, the stepson of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, are old friends, and Aziz has plenty of investors from the Mideast and Asia backing his Red Granite movie company.

“‘Wolf’ was a nonstop party, but I guess after spending $100 million to film the party, now they want to pay more to live one,” said one observer.

The Rocky Mountain hotspots this year are an outpost of Bootsy Bellows — a Los Angeles joint fronted by David Arquette — where billionaire John Paulson was spotted dining with Miramax producer Adam Fields; and Cloud Nine, a mountain cabin where fondue is the specialty.

“Cloud Nine has a wild lunch scene that turns into girls in long underwear dancing on the tables and people spraying champagne. Very St. Tropez,” said our source.

A spokesman for DiCaprio said the star was in Aspen with his German model girlfriend Toni Garrn and left before New Year’s.
