Byrne’s ‘Here Lies Love’ to play early shows on summer Fridays

Some New York office drones get to leave work early in July and August for “summer Fridays,” and David Byrne’s hit musical “Here Lies Love” is catering to that lucky crowd.

The show’s giving “Summer Friday Happy Hour” performances at 5 p.m. for guests at the Public Theater in Noho, who can then head to other weekend destinations.

We hear the scheme’s also been popular with casts of Broadway shows because thespians can attend and still make their own curtains.

Attendees at the Friday gigs have included “Orange Is the New Black” stars Uzo Aduba and Lea DeLaria.

Tommy Tune, Mario Cantone, Marilu Henner and Anika Larsen of “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” were expected Friday.
