Bristol Palin tells ‘deadbeat’ Levi to pay up

Bristol Palin, daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, filed court documents demanding father of her son and ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston pay $1,750 per month for child support, TMZ reported Friday.

The documents, filed late Thursday in Alaska, reportedly indicated that Johnston, 19, earned over $105,000 in 2009 through various media interviews and modeling-related activities, including a nude spread on the Playgirl website.

Palin, also 19, insisted that Johnston compensate her retroactively from Tripp’s birth on Dec. 27, 2008.

In her sworn statement, Palin said she received “limited and sporadic financial assistance from Levi,” adding that she only received $4,400 after Tripp was born.

Johnston’s manager, Tank Jones, told TMZ his client gave Palin over $10,000 since Tripp’s birth and that Johnston was not paid for all of his interviews, though he failed to disclose Johnston’s total 2009 earnings.

Johnston and Palin ended their relationship shortly after Tripp’s birth but not before publicly announcing their intention to marry and appearing together on-stage at the Republican National Convention when Sarah Palin joined Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) ill-fated presidential campaign.

Johnston and the Palin clan have traded numerous insults over the past year.
