Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson has been meeting with Wall Street money managers in a bid to rescue her struggling finances. She’s been spotted arriving for meetings with Thomas Belesis, CEO of brokerage and investment-banking firm John Thomas Financial. A source said Ferguson — enjoying success as a producer of “The Young Victoria” starring Emily Blunt — is looking for cash to back a new project. The insider said, “She has been talking about building ‘Brand Sarah,’ including her own line in furniture, but the success of ‘Young Victoria’ has her thinking about other TV and movie projects, as well as a novel.” The collapse of her company, Hartmoor, last year left her nearly $1 million in debt. But she insisted at the time, “I’m not broke, I’m not going bankrupt, nor am I giving up.” Belesis — who will appear in Oliver Stone‘s “Wall Street 2” — refused to comment, and the duchess could not be reached.
