Michael Douglas frets over son’s prison time

Michael Douglas, 65, is confident his drug-plagued son, Cameron, 31, can straighten himself out, but worries for his safety behind bars. Cameron was busted by the DEA in July for possession of a half-pound of methamphetamine, and faces 10 years to life. “Cameron has a lot of life ahead. He now recognizes his own demons and struggles,” Michael told AARP The Magazine. “He’s a tough kid. Still, he’s in a federal prison, and you’ve got some big, bad boys down there.” As for his younger kids with Catherine Zeta-Jones, “I wince when I think I’ll be close to 75 when my daughter is 16. I’m not going to be able to physically chase the boys away.”
