Jada Pinkett Smith is speaking out about the controversial photo of her 13-year-old daughter, Willow, in bed with a shirtless 20-year-old actor, Moises Arias.
“Here’s the deal, there was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation,” Pinkett Smith told TMZ upon arriving at LAX on Wednesday. “You guys are projecting your trash onto it and you’re acting like covert pedophiles and that’s not cool.”
In the black-and-white snapshot, Willow lies fully clothed on a bed as Arias — best known for his role in the Miley Cyrus sitcom “Hannah Montana” — sits behind her.
Arias originally posted the image but then deleted it after a Twitter backlash, but on Arias’ website, the image is captioned “Simba & Nala 2014.” (The caption is a reference to characters from Disney’s “The Lion King,” who grow up together and are later married.)
