Joe Francis’ life is about to get even wilder.

The man behind “Girls Gone Wild” and longtime main squeeze Abbey Wilson are expecting twin girls, Us Weekly reported Thursday.

“We both wanted girls and we wanted them to be healthy and free of genetic diseases so we chose to do IVF,” said Wilson, 26. “I have always heard women say you just know when you are pregnant and I totally understand that now.  Your body, smell, sensitivity and cravings all change and mine did from day one. I found out shortly after a blood test confirmed the results and called Joe immediately, we were both screaming and so loud with excitement from each end of the phone!”

Francis, 40, who’s been widely criticized for building his empire on the exploitation of young women, said he hoped the couple’s decision would change his public image.

“We chose to have girls,” he said. “I believe people will finally understand my love, respect and admiration for women. I love girls.”

The pregnancy announcement comes on the heels of several difficult months for Francis.

Last June, Wilson’s iPad, which contained sexually explicit videos of the couple, was stolen. Soon after the theft, a “sex tape” was being shopped around. But Francis’ friend and Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch purchased and returned the tape before it was made public.

In August, Francis was sentenced to 270 days in jail after being convicted on five misdemeanor charges — three counts of false imprisonment and one count each of assault and dissuading a witness from reporting — stemming from a 2011 incident involving three women Francis met at an LA club who claimed he took them back to his mansion and wouldn’t let them leave.

In February, his company, “Girls Gone Wild,” was forced to declare bankruptcy.

The couple’s relationship played out in front of cameras on the third season of VH1’s “Couples Therapy” last summer.
