Tamarind owner Avtar Walia faces the heartbreaking shutdown of his beloved and wildly popular East 22nd Street Indian showplace after one last New Year’s Eve feast. The building’s coming down, and Walia is moving his full-time staff down to his larger and perhaps even better Tamarind Tribeca, a fave of Mike Tyson, Russell Crowe — and Page Six.

Keith McNally’s Pulino’s — the first flop by the Balthazar creator — is slated to close on Sunday, to be replaced in March by a French bistro that McNally will call Cherche Midi.

Meanwhile, All’onda, the long-awaited return to Manhattan by former Marea partner Chris Cannon, pushed back its scheduled Sunday opening to Thursday.

In East Williamsburg, Gwynnett St. — the American bistro first favorably reviewed by The Post’s Steve Cuozzo in January 2012 — just reopened with a limited menu after owner Carl McCoy’s recent arrest on drug charges, which prompted most of the staff to leave. McCoy, who’s yet to be indicted, maintains his innocence.
