Vanessa Paradis has firmly moved on from her longtime love Johnny Depp and into the arms of French singer Benjamin Biolay, a rumored former paramour of Carla Bruni.

Paradis, who ended her 14-year relationship with Depp last spring, recently spent a romantic break with Biolay in Corsica (see photo on opposite page).

Witnesses told us of their stay there last weekend: “They clearly wanted to be alone. They spent all their time at the hotel, moving only with three bodyguards and in a car with heavily tinted windows.”

They had been set up by Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld, who counts chanteuse and actress Paradis, 40, as one of his muses, following her split with Depp, with whom she has two children: Lily-Rose, 14, and Jack, 11.

Biolay, who’s a huge star in France, was linked with Bruni in 2010, but the rumors of their affair were unconfirmed, as she was already married to former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, whom she wed in February 2008.

Biolay and Paradis were seen dining together at Ralph’s Restaurant in Paris earlier this year. But they were careful not to be seen together. She left the cafe in a leather jacket, hat and scarf moments before Biolay emerged, talking on his cellphone. The couple have even recorded a duet together called “Enjoy,” which is featured on Biolay’s latest album.

Buzz began to surface about the Paradis/Depp split earlier this year since they had not been seen at a public event together since 2010. They confirmed the breakup in June.

Depp, 50, has also moved on, with his “The Rum Diary” co-star Amber Heard. He recently told Rolling Stone of his breakup with Paradis, “Relationships are very difficult. Especially in the racket that I’m in because you’re constantly away or they’re away and so it’s hard. It wasn’t easy on her. It wasn’t easy on me. It wasn’t easy on the kids . . . [But] it doesn’t stop the fact that you care for that person, and they’re the mother of your kids . . . and you’re always gonna be in each other’s lives because of those kids.”
