Ex-Giant court ordered to stay away from wife

Former New York Giants lineman Luke Petitgout, who allegedly slapped his wife Jennifer Petitgout and slugged a man who was chatting to her at a Midtown lounge, has been ordered by a court to stay away from his spouse.

The 6-foot-6, 310-pound ex-tackle who played for the Giants until 2006, was arrested and arraigned for misdemeanor assault charges after he allegedly burst into 48 Lounge on Thursday night, charged her table, sucker-punched a man in the eye and hit Jennifer with an open hand.

On Friday, Jennifer obtained a temporary restraining order which states, “Defendant slapped plaintiff in the face and proceeded to strike one of her friends repeatedly. Defendant has also threatened plaintiff’s life.”

Sources tell us that Jennifer, who plans to file for divorce and has moved into to a hotel with their three young daughters, fears for her life.

The source added that Luke has since contacted her by text and showed up at the family home in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, when she wasn’t there, although it was unclear whether he knew about the restraining order at the time.

Attorney Nicole Noonan, the president of National Divorce Capital, who is advising Jennifer, told Page Six, “She wants Luke out of her life, out of her house, and hopes he will get the domestic violence therapy he needs so he can continue to be part of his children’s lives.”

Luke’s attorney Dennis Ring did not get back to us last night.
