Playboy sues Harper’s Bazaar over Kate Moss nudes

Hugh Hefner won’t let go of Kate Moss’ boobs without a fight.

Playboy Enterprises International on Friday slapped publishing giant Hearst with a lawsuit claiming its Harper’s Bazaar website in December reproduced an image of the 40-year-old supermodel without consent.

The 60th anniversary special edition of Playboy, featuring Kate Moss.

The picture was part of Moss’ sexy cover spread featured in Playboy’s 60th anniversary special. And readers who visited Harper’s page to check out Moss got an added bonus if they clicked a link that said “See the rest of the decidedly not safe for work images here.”

The suit says those who clicked on the link were sent to another site — entertainment.ie — which showed nine nude photos of Moss used by Playboy under the caption: “Save yourself a fiver. Here’s Kate Moss’ NSFW spread from Playboy,” The Post’s Rich Calder reports.

The entertainment.ie link was down as of Friday, although Harper’s tribute to the Moss spread was still up.

Playboy wants $150,000 for each “infringed work.”

Moss’ spread featured more than two dozen shots. Harper’s didn’t comment.
