Jessica Biel is breaking ground on her new children’s restaurant in Santa Monica.
We’re told it will be named “Au Fudge” and it’s being dubbed a “Soho House for kids.”
A source described to us: “It would be a place where A-listers would feel comfortable bringing their kids to dine and take part in cooking activities.”
Sources tell us the actress and budding chef has found a location in Santa Monica and is working to get permits and hire a construction crew. We’re told proposals have also been sent out to potential sponsors.
Biel spoke about the concept on “Tonight Show With Jay Leno” last summer, explaining, “I would have the bakery component . . . but I’m not a great baker — yet.”
Mrs. Justin Timberlake has been posting Instagram pictures of her baking efforts, including an attempt at making cinnamon buns that went seriously wrong when “I mistook the salt for sugar.”
