Holmes & Yang partnership ends due to ‘interpersonal conflict’

Hollywood star Katie Holmes and her onetime stylist Jeanne Yang have ended their five-year partnership in their fashion line Holmes & Yang, Page Six has exclusively learned.

The actress and ex-wife of Tom Cruise and Yang’s partnership has ended due to an “interpersonal conflict,” said a source on the eve of the Oscars.

“Jeanne enjoys the spotlight way more than Katie does,” our source told us. “Things have definitely soured between them.”

Holmes’ rep confirmed to us, “The Holmes & Yang partnership has ended.”

Besides the fracturing of the pair’s relationship, we’re told the line was also having difficulty because its creators live on different coasts.

“Katie’s living in New York and Jeanne’s living in LA, which hasn’t made it easier,” said an insider. Reports had also claimed that Yang had been leaking information about Holmes and Cruise following their divorce.

The brand, which launched in 2009, is no longer being sold at the Barneys New York luxury chain, we’re told.

Its social media presence has also gone dark: Holmes & Yang’s Facebook page and Twitter feed had not been updated in over a month.

Seen on celebs including Nicole Richie and Krysten Ritter, the star of “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23,” the label’s last showing during New York Fashion Week was to a select group of editors last February.

The New York Times said of the line, “The nice thing about Holmes & Yang is that they do not, and should not, require a lot of thought.”

Since her partnership with Yang began, Holmes has also been spending more time focusing on her acting career.

The “Dawson’s Creek” star now has roles lined up in indie films “Responsible Adults,” “Mania Days,” and “Miss Meadows.”

She’s also just completed a part in Harvey Weinstein’s “The Giver” opposite Meryl Streep, Alexander Skarsgard, Jeff Bridges and Taylor Swift.
